Regulated Institutions

The Consumer Finance Division (CFD) is responsible for the licensing, supervision, and examination of all:

  • Consumer finance companies
  • Deferred presentment/payday lenders
  • Check-cashing companies
  • Mortgage lender/servicing companies, branches, and their loan originators (W2 employees)
